Hi, I’m Dr. Darlinda Minor—a board-certified adult psychiatrist and founder of Wellwyn Health, a concierge-style private practice based in Houston, Texas. I created this practice to offer something that’s hard to find in today’s healthcare system: thoughtful, personalized care that’s rooted in trust, consistency, and clarity.

I earned my medical degree from Stony Brook University School of Medicine in New York, then completed my psychiatry residency at George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC. I went on to complete a Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship at Case Western Reserve University, where I gained additional expertise in complex psychiatric assessments and disability-related evaluations.

Over the past decade, I’ve worked across a wide range of clinical settings—from inpatient units and outpatient clinics to psychiatric emergency rooms and virtual platforms. I’ve treated patients in moments of acute crisis and walked alongside professionals navigating long-term mental health care. These experiences confirmed what I believe deeply: healing requires more than medication. It requires insight, intention, and a clear path forward.

When I’m not seeing patients, I love spending time with my family, traveling, and collecting fragrances. I also create content to help others become more aware of their mental health needs—even if they’re not able to work with me directly.
